  • Grand Teton National Park
Rising above a scene rich with extraordinary wildlife, pristine lakes, and alpine terrain, the Teton Range stands monument to the people who fought to protect it. These are mountains of the imagination. Mountains that led to the creation of Grand Teton National Park where you can explore over two hundred miles of trails, float the Snake River or enjoy the serenity of this remarkable place.

With its jagged, rocky peaks, cool alpine lakes and fragrant forests, the Tetons rank among the finest scenery in America. Directly south of Yellowstone, Grand Teton National Park has 12 glacier-carved summits, which frame the singular Grand Teton (13,770ft). For mountain enthusiasts, this sublime and crazy terrain is thrilling. Less crowded than Yellowstone, the Tetons also have plenty of tranquility, along with wildlife such as bear, moose, grouse and marmot.

Jenny Lake in Grand Teton National Park

There are two main scenic drives in the area. The four-mile Jenny Lake Scenic Loop meanders around the lake’s eastern shore, and the five-mile Signal Mountain Summit Road has scenic overlooks perfect for viewing Jackson Hole in the distance. Both, of course, have amazing views of the surrounding mountains. This is the Jenny Lake loop
