  • Property I stayed at near the Villa rented for clients, near Cortona-Locanda del Molino. The Locanda del Molino is a typical Tuscany country inn situated in an oasis of peace and tranquility in Cortona. The locanda is owned by the Baracchi family of Relais Il Falconiere and what was once an ancient olive pressing mill by the River Esse has been transformed into 8 romantic rooms and a wonderful rustic restaurant. It is perfect for a quiet getaway dedicated to great wine, great food and relaxation, as well as a base for discovering Tuscany and nearby Umbria.

  • Borgo San Felice Located in the heart of Tuscany, this property is built within a feudal hamlet consisting of a cluster of stone, ivy-laced buildings linked by quaint cobbled lanes. The various buildings, including a small chapel, have been cleverly converted into reception area, guestrooms, dining rooms, lounges, conference room, and bar. The tiny village is not entirely consecrated to the hotel: local farmers still live in some of the buildings and olive oil and wine are produced. The wines, produced from grapes grown on the 2,400 surrounding acres, are some of Italy’s finest. Although the hotel is secluded deep in the countryside, there is no need for guests to sacrifice any creature comforts. The hotel, a member of the prestigious Relais & Châteaux group, is a sophisticated property offering all the amenities and services of a deluxe hotel. Although the façade is rustic, the interior exudes a gracious charm and the guestrooms, which are decorated with soft, pleasing colors, floral fabrics, and many antiques, offer every amenity.
